Simple truth: I can’t think of anything more magical, more whimsical, or more lovely than a gingerbread house at Christmastime.

Baker beware! Saltine Toffee is very addictive.
I first tasted it 5-years ago at a relative’s home, and once I enjoyed my first bite, I couldn’t stop eating it. When the recipe was shared with me, I wouldn’t have been surprised if it had contained an illegal ingredient.
Of course it didn’t.

I should also probably confess that I am a vanilla extract snob as well (okay, and maple syrup – but that is a post for March 2013).
